This is your one stop service and sales center for your marine transmission. With a dealer network and over 40 years experience we are an authorized warranty and retail repair facility for Velvet Drive, Borg Warner, ZF and Hurth.

We rebuild, Walter V-Drives, Paragon, Mercruiser MCM transmissions and others upon request.

We do high performance transmission modification.

Most units are flat rate labor, plus parts, freight and sales tax. You receive a firm quote prior to assembly. Pre pay shipments. We do not accept freight collect charges. After shopping, you will find our labor rates and quality the best the industry has to offer the boater. Unless unavailable, only genuine OEM parts are used.

We pick up and deliver in the Detroit area at NO additional charge to you. In the peak season it is weekly or twice weekly. In the off season the service is done on an on call basis. The following local downstate, no long distance charge phone number will call forward to us. (586) 791-0572

If you are a marine service operation, and have current Sales Tax & Federal ID numbers, contact us about becoming a wholesale Gear Box dealer. Whenever possible, work will be referred to you, such as transmission remove & replace and other needed service work by the boat owner. We specialize in only MARINE transmission service and sales.
